The EBSCOhost service offers three distinct indexes: Business Source Corporate, Business Source Elite, and Business Source Premier. The amount of full-text and full-image content increases, respectively; the premier variation now delivers pdf images of articles dating as far back as the 1920s for selected journal titles. Searchability has improved over the past few years through better use of index terminology that offsets abstracts that tend to be too brief. Academic researches will particularly appreciate the ability to sift out peer-reviewed articles. Overall, it has become a viable alternative to ABI;b2Inform. Larger libraries have frequently maintained subscriptions to both products for their unique content and coverage. However, budgetary realities will find many forced to choose one over the other. Cost will probably be the major influence on such decisions, followed by personal preferences to search interface design and functionality. (Brian DeHart)
